under arrest
Bon Apetit: I signed a pledge to help save turtles and now there's a big card on my desk that says 'I AM A CONSERVATION HERO.' with a turtle on it.
........................
I'm being held against my will.
This is PREPOSTEROUS, i tell you!!!!
It's murder!!! (towards my well-being.)
Was RARING to go back to class this morning cos we had national day yesterday so no class and i haven't seen any of my group members since saturday and i actually miss them!!
Was all dressed up and ready to go when i got a call from Nelson who went 'Hello janice? do you still have flu?'
And a HUGGGE ? popped up at the top of my head.
*
Me: Um. i don't have flu...?
Nelson: You said yesterday you were sick?
Me: Oh. i had a bit of sorethroat (FROM THE NON-STOP 6 DAY SCREAM FEST = ORIENTATION) and today i'm very fine. perfect!
Nelson: Oh okay then. Bye.
*
And so i was just going to go again when nelson called back.
*
Nelson: You know you have to stay away from people?
Me: ............
Nelson: Stay at home, don't go anywhere.
Me: !!!!!!!!
*
Then things got reaaaaaaaaally confusing. half of my group were in school, attending classes as usual and the other half were outside IMU unable to get in and then there's the ones like me whom has no idea which category i fit into.
SO i ended up staying at home the whole day.
Making friends with the wall.
Was really looking forward for tonight's dress code orientation. We're going supposed to watch videos each group made last week based on topics given by seniors.
Our group got a music video in tagalog.
So we Mei Xiu and Sherie chose Celine Dion's My Heart Will Go On and Flo Rida's Low (which doesn't really give the desired effect when sung in tagalog).
With us as the multi-talented cast, Eric's mix mash magic and Sam's ultra video-editing skills, we came up with one wicked video :)
Andddd we won't be there to watch it.
-_________________________________________-
Apparently some of our group members came down with fever during the weekend and that sent everyone in a frenzy.
Resulting in the dean banning us from stepping into IMU for god knows how many days and the orientation committee warning us from joining tonight's orientation. and tomorrow's. and maybe the night after one as well. and the next night.... =.=
Curse you H1N1 (aka HiNi).
Note: If someone is H1N1 positive, does it mean they're non-halal?
