Dear ol Mel came down to visit the subang clan last saturday.
Actually it was more of escaping KTJ's compulsory fundraising concert thing.
But it was fun! Went for dinner at the Street, a new korean cafe that just opened opposite Taylors.
I love the bibimba. as in the stone pot rice thing. that's basically the only korean food i eat. haha not very koreany though.
mel ate the cheese rice roll and noodle thing. and abandoned it halfway. haha it wasn't that bad la.
but the place is nice. they have special rooms upstairs where you sit on the floor with cushions and each room is separated by wooden blinds and see-through curtains. very japanesy.
prices are very reasonable too :)
after dinner we went to catch Wolverine at the Summit.
Summit's like our Saberkas back home. eeks.
I still super love GSC's Lite n Sweet popcorn! cos i hate caramel and most cineplexes only have caramel popcorn. was stuffing my face with popcorn although i just had dinner.
too irresistable.
the movie started at 9.30pm and we just finished dinner at 9. at 9.29pm, we were still on the road.
went to pick tiff daneng neng and her friend to catch the movie with us.
we ended up missing about 20min of the movie.
when we entered it was '6 years later...'
lols. but the movie was good! cos i've watched the other X-men movies and i think it's nice. and plus this is to understand Wolverine's past. which is why it's called 'X-men Origins: Wolverine.'
Will.i.am's in it too. for like only 10min. haha.
i was totally anticipating Chris Evans the fire guy to come out and it was only after an hour into the movie that i realised he's from Fantastic 4.
Super hero mix-up :P
I'm looking forward for Transformers 2. Can't wait for it to come out!
ps: !!!!!!this week's american idol :S nail-bitingly kin-teo.
please lord save Danny gokey and kris allen.
