muhahahaha.

i saved mdm chong's house from being burnt to ashes yesterday!

ok when i say that, a lot of people actually imagined a very heroic scene but it's actually very VERY unheroic. but still, I SAVED THE DAY! and her chicken or whatever was being cooked.

cos i was in my room ATTEMPTING to study chem cos today's chem paper and i keep telling myself 'I MUST STUDY!' after playing since friday till yesterday.

so anyways, there i was, trying to make friends with alkenes when i sudd smelt smt bad. like some chau tar smell. n i thought it was just mdm chong burning some things cos she's a very VERY devout (is that a word..?) buddhist. so i ignored it.

then the smell got stronger and stronger. so i decided to check it out. went to the kitchen and located the source: a pot on the stove. with smoke coming out.

and, my neurones not being properly connected, made me think 'maybe she's cooking some herby thing that SCHTINKS like ($*(Z$.'

so i walked to the living room but i couldn't find her. then i spotted her lying on the couch trying to sleep. so i walked back to the pot and went 'HMMMMM....should i tell?....should i not?'

and i went back to the living room and looked at her. and she didn't move. so i went back to the smoking pot and looked at it. and it was moving.

so i went back and forth and back and forth for about 5 minutes. and cos i wear my fluffy slippers and when i walk there's the shuffling sound.

so i was like *shuffle shuffle shuffle* for 5 minutes and i think mdm chong got pretty annoyed cos she was trying to rest so she opened one eye and found me peering at her over the couch. and she moved her head and looked at me.

so i went 'erm. mdm chong. are u cooking something at the back?'

and she went 'OH DIE! i forgot! help me to off the fire please!' and so i went to the kitchen and off it.

(ps all this was in mandarin btw. I CAN SPEAK MANDARIN OK.)

and she was like 'oh thank you!' n bla bla and i was like 'no problem.' hehe and went back to my room.

and she then gave me sweet potato to eat cos i didn't go out for lunch.

AND THEN later that night she knocked on my door and went 'you're not going for dinner? your friends not picking u up?'

and i said 'no cos i didn't ask them to come' and she went 'U DIDNT ASK THEM TO COME THEY DON't KNOW HOW TO COME????'

omg lol. she's so damn funny la. so she went and scooped rice for me and the vege and stuff la. and asked me to eat.

SHE IS OFFICIALLY THE BEST AND SWEETEST LANDLADY EVER!!!!

she takes good care of me and i love her :)
